Great news: we’ve secured December 9 – 11, 2013 for The Lean Startup Conference. We wanted you to know before we announce it publicly.
The conference will take over Nob Hill in San Francisco, with plenary talks at the Masonic Center and additional sessions and events at The Fairmont Hotel, a half-block away. The conference will be much larger than in previous years. These venues give us a chance to expand after outgrowing last year’s site; they also let us take our main event from one day to two and let us add in breakout sessions and networking events to offer a much deeper program.
We’re excited this year to grow in another way: by bringing more attendees from around the world to San Francisco. One of our themes for the year will be the global entrepreneurship movement, recognizing SF as *the* startup HQ for people to learn about entrepreneurship. We hope you’ll agree that it’s a natural fit.
What this means is two things. First, even if you’re not based in the Bay Area, we want you to attend. Please mark your calendar.
Second, to help people with significant travel costs attend, we’ve created a scholarship program with special, extremely inexpensive passes for out-of-town groups. If you work with an incubator, accelerator, school, portfolio or other community that might be interested in traveling to SF, please contact my co-host, Sarah Milstein, cc’d in, for details.
We’ll be in touch soon with more details about the conference and opportunities to help us build a global entrepreneurship event in SF. In the meantime, please make a note on your calendar.
Thank you for your continuing support,
